Poster Roast returns!

Pr_montagev3
Ahoy travellers of the turbulent interwaves,

So yes, as the title clearly suggests, Poster Roast does indeed return. For those of you not familiar with Poster Roast, it's a series of exhibitions and events created by WeThreeClub that aims to showcase the best of the bestest of UK poster art....and my work. The events tend to feature live printing and music and a slew of affordable screenprints for the public to take home in their sweaty paws. Sounds good right? Well the next one is nearly upon us, bearing down on us like...a bear.

I will now attempt to pre-empt some of the questions racing through your collective minds. You will be represented in bold.

When and where will this 'Poster Roast' be?

Good question, it will be at this years Camden Crawl, in Camden, London at the Camden Arms pub in, err, Camden. This will take place on Saturday 30th April and Sunday 1st May from 11.30am - 7pm, straddling the two months and truly beckoning in Spring.

Do I need a ticket to Camden Crawl to get into Poster Roast?

Yes you do. Information about this can be read with your eyes at on the Camden Crawl website

So which popular beat combos will be getting the kids jiving at this shindig (who's playing)?

We have the wonderful Sauna Youth and Great Ancestors on the Saturday and the splendid Blacklisters and These Monsters on the Sunday. 'Strong', as the youth might say.

Can I read more about this and other Poster Roast events on the Internet Information Super Web-way (IISWW)?

Yes.

Where?

Here.

Thanks, I think you've answered all my questions.

Ok maybe see you there then?

Maybe, i'm not sure, I'm quite busy at the moment....

P-p-p-pick up some prints

Ok so this post has nothing to do with penguins, the biscuits or birds. I do however really need to pick up the posters from round my studio. Anyway, to the point...

So i am now back in UK following the US jaunt and finally returned to my normal mental state. There are a few new projects on the go, including a Moondog print for a show in Edinburgh, a show myself and Eva Rowson are putting togther with Five Years in London and a Queens of the Stone Age poster at the printers as we speak.

But more about all those things in the near future. For now i just wanted to let all the lovely folks in interweb-world know about the new prints that are now up in the big cartel 'o' fun at lukedrozd.com. There's not one, not two, not three...no wait, there is exactly three new prints up.

First up is the lovely risograph print i produced for Biteproof zine and printed by the good folks at Ditto Press. Totally spazzy goodness to seer those retinas, these little babies are 3 colours and A3 in size.

Second we have the promotion poster/art print designed for my good friends at British Undrground where i'm sort of artist in residence at the moment. 3 colour sheddy loveliness.

Finally we have the art print version of my recent Three Trapped Tigers poster printed live before the people of the Untitled Shifts of the America at Flatstock in Austin, TX by Andy MacDougall of Squeegeeville. Factually accurate as well as good to look at so you cant really complain about that.

If you fancy any of those fellas pop over to the shop here. If not that's fine, its your choice, i wont be affended...or will I? No,I  won't.

Speak to you soon internet!
